Adapted from Compendium Rarissimum Totius Artis Magicae. Watercolour drawing, c. 1775. The book contains 31 extraordinary watercolour drawings of demons, and three pages of magical and cabbalistic signs. This depiction of Beelzebub has rabbit ears, a tiger’s face, clawed fingers and bird’s legs.
