Sarah Cemmick Lino Cuts

Award winning Lino Cuts Artist Sarah Cemmick from the U.K creates wildlife and woodland themed greeting card designs that are sure to entrance. 

Sarah studied environmental illustration at Sunderland university which started a love affair with Lino. Once graduated, she began printmaking full time.

Influenced by wildlife, designs are carved from each lino block and run through a press under great pressure creating the final artwork. Some pieces are then tinted with watercolour to give added texture. The process begins with lots of drawings to create the design which is then transferred to the block using traditional techniques her art can be seen at galleries throughout the UK.
