Greeting card illustrating types of beards. Printed in England on an uncoated, light cream 300gsm Italian paper, which is recyclable, biodegradable and FSC certified
Adapted from Some Account of the Beard and the Moustachio, Chiefly from the Sixteenth to the Eighteenth Century, John Repton (1839). The reverse of the card features the article ‘Reasons for wearing a Moustache’, taken from an undated newspaper clipping glued to the inside cover of the book. Wellcome Collection.
170mm x 120mm (approx. 5” x 7”) and blank inside, individually wrapped in a compostable wrapper made from plants, with a 100% recycled, 110gsm kraft envelope.
